I am a realist figurative painter with a modern style, using fresh and sometimes bold colours to bring out the character of the subjects. Whether painting racehorses or gerbils all paintings are approached with the same professional manner. Accuracy and attention to detail are always a priority. All paintings are created from photographs. More than one photograph is helpful if supplied but I will work from one if not possible. I have painted many different breeds of dogs and there are plenty of examples in my gallery. From great danes, basset hounds, labrador retrievers, german shepherd dogs, alsations, and westies, to cocker spaniels, boxers, jack russells and many more you can be sure that I will do your little (or big!) companion justice. The majority of my paintings are painted with strong and vibrant coloured backgrounds which help to bring out the character of the animals portrayed. I bring design flair into my paintings to make them attractive for modern pet owners living a modern lifestyle. Whilst I paint life-like figurative art I enjoy keeping the colours I use strong and vibrant. Commissions usually take around eight weeks from order. If the artwork is to be a gift and timescale is a problem I can offer to provide a voucher so that the recipient can receive something on the day itself before the painting is finished. When the artwork is ready I always send/email my customers to check that they are fully satisfied before asking for the balance of payment.
