Here's the answers to a few questions that you may find useful. If I haven't covered what you would like to know then feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help.

How long do orders take? - generally you can expect to wait around six weeks from order depending on my workload. I will advise you on this at the time of order. Christmas is obviously a busy time, so I would advise you to get your order in early if you're thinking of a painted present. I can, however, provide you with a gift voucher if if is not possible to do the painting in time.

How do I pay? - I ask for a 20% deposit by cheque to be paid up front, Once the painting is finished I will send/email you a copy for your appproval. When you are happy you can pay me the balance and I will send you the painting as soon as the money has cleared.

How should I send you my pictures? - Email is obviously the easiest.I can open most image files, but to be safe I would recommend you send jpegs. Otherwise post your photos through the normal post to my address.

I don't like the background in my photograph. Can you change it? - Yes, please take a look at my guide for details.

What type of materials do you use? - I normally paint on 'chunky canvas'. It's designed to be just hung on the wall without the need for a frame. The edge profile is between 25 - 38mm thick giving the artwork a substantial, fresh and modern feel. The paint I use is oil based containing a quick drying agent (this means you don't have to wait six months for it to dry!).

Is there a cost for postage? - For paintings to anywhere in the UK postage is free. For orders from overseas there will be an extra charge to cover shipping costs and this will depend on size and destination.
